Job summary

TheKey is seeking a Learning Content & Digital Training Specialist to design, develop, and maintain high-quality digital learning content that supports TheKey’s national training programs.

You will translate clinical and operational standards into engaging learning experiences for caregivers, care managers, and leaders, working with the Director of Training and Learning Operations to scale learning with modern digital tools.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Education, Communications, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in instructional design or digital content creation.
• Experience using Articulate Rise and Synthesia.
• Strong written and visual communication skills; ability to translate clinical standards into learner-friendly content.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital learning content using tools such as Synthesia, Articulate Rise 360, and other e-learning platforms; create onboarding modules, role-based curricula, microlearning assets, and refresher training.
• Translate clinical, quality, and operational standards into learner-friendly content; partner with SMEs to ensure accuracy and relevance; maintain consistent structure and tone across materials.
• Update and maintain learning content to reflect changes in policies, workflows, and regulatory requirements; support version control and organization within learning systems; incorporate learner feedback and performance data.
• Produce video-based learning assets using Synthesia and similar tools; incorporate visuals and scenarios to enhance engagement and retention; support basic graphic design.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Sales, People and other corporate teams to support training initiatives and new program launches; assist pilots and rollouts; contribute to evolving TheKey’s learning standards.
• Manage Learning Management Platforms assignments to ensure compliance with state training requirements, systems administration and training support.
• Demonstrate adaptability and analytical thinking; communicate with empathy; take ownership and deliver high-quality content on time.

The Learning Content & Digital Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality digital learning content that supports TheKey’s national training and education programs. This role plays a critical execution role in translating clinical, quality, and operational standards into engaging, accessible, and practical learning experiences for caregivers, care managers, and leaders. Working in close partnership with the Director of Training and Learning Operations, this role helps scale learning through modern digital tools, consistent design standards, and strong instructional practices. This position is well-suited for an instructional designer or digital content creator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys channeling creativity into building content that directly supports frontline performance and care quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Learning Content Design & Development Design and develop digital learning content using tools such as Synthesia, Articulate Rise 360, and other e-learning platforms. Create onboarding modules, role-based curricula, microlearning assets, and refresher training. Apply adult learning principles to ensure content is clear, engaging, and actionable for a diverse workforce.
• Instructional Design & Learning Experience Translate clinical, quality, and operational standards into learner-friendly content and step-by-step guidance. Partner with subject matter experts to gather inputs and ensure accuracy and relevance. Maintain consistent structure, tone, and visual standards across all learning materials.
• Content Maintenance & Continuous Improvement Update and maintain learning content to reflect changes in policies, workflows, clinical standards, or regulatory requirements. Support version control, documentation, and organization within learning systems. Incorporate learner feedback and performance data to improve clarity, usability, and effectiveness.
• Multimedia & Visual Learning Produce video-based learning assets using Synthesia and similar tools. Incorporate visuals, scenarios, and examples to enhance engagement and retention. Support basic graphic design and layout needs to elevate learning quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Sales, People and other Corporate teams to support training initiatives and new program launches. Support pilots, rollouts, and updates by ensuring content is completed accurately and on time. Contribute to the continuous evolution of TheKey’s learning standards and content library.
• Learning Management Platforms Expectations are to manage Learning Management Platforms assignments to ensure compliance with state training requirements, systems administration & training support

Qualifications & Experience

Associate’s degree required; degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Education, Communications, or a related field preferred. 3-6 years of experience in instructional design, learning content development, or digital content creation. Hands-on experience with Articulate Rise, Synthesia, or similar digital learning tools preferred. Strong written and visual communication skills with an eye for clarity and design. Experience translating complex information into simple, practical learning content. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities. Experience in healthcare, home care, or other regulated environments preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements
