Job description

Peak Performers has partnered with a Managed Care Organization to assist in their search for a Learning Consultant. In this short term contract position, you will manage the design, development and continuous improvement of a diverse set of learning programs and initiatives.

Major Duties
  1. Leverage effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills to provide curriculum design and development consulting; build long-term business relationships with various groups within the organization.
  2. Support the development of content, including measurable learning objectives, leaders and participant materials and tools, experiential scenarios and simulations, assessment and evaluation questions.
  3. Maintain learning resources related to company learning and development programs.
  4. Facilitate training as needed.
  5. Conduct reviews of learning program objectives, assessing the need for modifications to content and structure.
  6. Research current industry trends, recommend and incorporate related updates into the curriculum.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
What Are We Looking For?
  1. Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Training, Learning Design or related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of learning and development experience, including adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies.
  2. Experience in a healthcare/managed care setting preferred.
  3. PHR/SPHR preferred.
  4. Project Management experience.
  5. Familiar with adult learning theories, design principles, and branding principles.
  6. HTML and e-learning experience.
  7. SharePoint online, Stream, Articulate storyline, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite.
About This Position
  1. Rate: $35.00-$38.65/hr.
  2. Days / Hours: Monday-Friday/9:00am - 5:00pm.
  3. Contract length: 1 month.
  4. Remote (CST timezone preferred).
