Job summary

Tarrant County College's Southeast Campus Learning Commons is seeking a Specialist II to provide front-line customer service to students, employees, and the public. This part-time role (up to 19.5 hours per week) supports clerical, library, learning lab and other duties across the Learning Commons.

The specialist will cross-train in multiple areas, assist with appointment scheduling, equipment use, and offers guidance on resources and services to enhance learning and engagement on campus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 60 college hours and one year of related experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple Learning Commons functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line customer service to students, employees, and the public.
• Cross-train in clerical, learning lab, library, and other duties across the Learning Commons.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, calendar management, and communications.
• Support daily operations and materials handling within the Learning Commons.
