Tarrant County College’s Trinity River Learning Commons seeks a part-time Specialist I to deliver front-line customer support to students, staff, and the public. You’ll cross-train across library, learning lab, clerical, and support functions to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include front desk oversight, scheduling, resource guidance, and helping users with technology needs. Evening/weekend availability may be required to meet campus needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience.
• College education beyond minimum requirements; degree in CS or STEM preferred.
• Experience teaching college-level Information Technology, Business Technology, or Science courses.
• Makerspace initiatives or related business information technologies experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide front-line customer service to students, employees, and the public.
• Support learning commons operations, including scheduling, calendar management, and communications.
• Assist with library, learning lab, and clerical duties as needed.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and safety practices in a busy campus Learning Commons.
