Job summary

Colorado Mountain College seeks an Instruction & Learning Commons Librarian to deliver collegewide instructional and reference services in both in-person and virtual environments. The role includes information literacy instruction, research consultations, and responsive reference support for students, faculty, and staff.

The position also coordinates Learning Commons services for Summit Campus (Breckenridge & Dillon), developing programs and partnerships that connect students with academic

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science or related degree with three years related experience; or Bachelor’s degree with five years related experience; or equivalent.
• Experience in an academic setting and learning services such as librarianship, tutoring, peer tutoring, and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide instruction sessions and reference services in face-to-face and online environments.
• Plan, coordinate, and promote learning services and activities to support students, faculty, and staff.
• Supervise student employees and volunteers as assigned.
• Coordinate with staff and faculty to support tutoring services and research assistance.
