Overview:
The Learning Center Front Desk Student Employee will provide customer service, academic support, and administrative support to students, staff, and faculty. Students in this role will be trained on administrative tasks, customer service, and resources at Oakton Community College. Student employees will provide as- needed services to Learning Center users. A typical day could include staffing front desks, answering phones, date entry, or completing a special project detailed by Learning Center staff.

Monday., Wednesday., Thursday., Friday.: 9:30 am- 1:30 pm Tuesday: 9:00- 5:00 pm.
Schedule Flexibility:
Once accepted, a set schedule will be set up for the semester. There is flexibility in the schedule for taking exams, class preparation, emergencies, and illness.
Position expectations: Desk/space coverage, working independently on projects, extensive workflow, and confidentiality.
