Job summary

Huntington Learning Center in Blaine, MN is seeking a part-time Center Manager to help students close the COVID-19 learning gap and achieve academic goals.

You will review student progress, meet with parents, supervise part-time teachers, handle scheduling and finances, and support local marketing and school partnerships.

The role rewards growth, training, and a collaborative environment, with a 35-hour max week and flexible afternoon hours.

Qualifications

• A completed, 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years experience in education, customer service, and/or management.
• Teaching/tutoring experience highly desired, but not required.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Driven to help kids achieve their academic goals and be successful in school.
• Comfortable with financial conversations regarding additional tutoring services.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing student programs, assessing progress against goals, and making curriculum adjustments as needed to ensure students achieve their goals.
• Meeting regularly with parents to discuss student progress and goals.
• Oversee center operations and finances - scheduling, invoicing, payroll. Other administrative duties as needed.
• Supervising part-time teachers to fuel the highest quality teaching.
• Drive marketing within the community and schools to raise awareness of our services and student results.
• Connecting with school teachers and administrators to support student success.
• Teaching students if needed.

Hours:

• Part-time role up to 35 hours per week.
• Flexible scheduling with hours between Monday - Friday 12-7pm. Some Saturday support may be needed between 9am-3pm.
