Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS I or LBS II Endorsement required.
• Educational background and/or experience in diagnosing and servicing students with varying disabilities and emotional behavioral concerns.
• Collaborative skills with staff members and parents to optimize student achievement.
• Strong commitment to professional expertise and continual professional development.
• An understanding of adult learning styles and the change process.
• Knowledge of varied models and methods of assessment that yield information useful in identifying strengths and needs.
• Expertise in developing appropriate behavioral, affective, adaptive and social goals for students and implementing interventions.
• Ability to create safe, supportive, and effective learning environments.
