The Learning and Development Specialist in University Advancement at Washington University is responsible for driving organizational growth for University Advancement staff by scheduling, developing, facilitating, maintaining, and measuring the effectiveness of learning and development solutions. The Learning and Development Specialist will serve as a member of the Organizational Development Team. This team is focused on improving individual and team performance and has expertise in providing staff with meaningful and relevant learning and development experiences. The Specialist will collaborate frequently with other members of the Organizational Development team. The specialist is responsible for policies, procedures, and operations of learning content associated with Workday Learning (the University’s primary learning management system for employees). The specialist will design synchronous and asynchronous learning solutions, develop learning content and assets such as PowerPoints, worksheets, eLearnings, etc., collaborate with subject matter experts, facilitate virtual and in-person learnings, and assess results to gauge learning effectiveness. The Specialist will ensure that all training is delivered at a high level of quality and will exhibit a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
