Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to deliver educational services, supervise orientation activities for new employees, and develop enriching educational opportunities under the supervision of the Chief Learning Officer.

This full‑time position (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm with flexibility) requires a minimum of five years in education or human services, LMS proficiency, training delivery and needs analysis, and the ability to coordinate content, partner with field

Learning and Development Specialist Seven Hills Foundation Under the supervision of the Chief Learning Officer (CLO), the Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for the delivery of educational services, supervising and coordinating orientation activities (basic and mandatory), and enrichment exercises and the development of educational opportunities.

Pay: 62,000-66,000 annually

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9a-5p with flexibility

Responsibilities

• Assists the Chief Learning Officer (CLO), with the development and implementation of staff training and continuing education exercises.
• Organizes, coordinates and conducts orientation programs for new employees, with the Human Resource Office.
• Conducts needs assessments, designs, develops, and measures the results of learning and development solutions.
• Partnering with field subject experts for major training initiatives to gather information, create content, pilot new programs, and solicit feedback to validate final content delivery.
• Acquires, coordinates, and/or develops learning and development materials for employees that meet the agencies' needs and adhere to standards established by the various accrediting, professional and other regulatory agencies.
• Coordinates and organizes conferences, lectures, demonstrations, seminars and workshops to advance the mission of the Foundation and all of its affiliates.
• Documents and updates the learning managements system (LMS) and training files.
• Liaisons with affiliate partners to understand needs and provide learning solutions.
• Attains or maintains certifications necessary to teach required courses.
• Performs other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five
• A minimum of five (5) years experience in education, human services, developmental disabilities, nursing, rehabilitation, training, or a closely related field and proven experience in coordinating continuing educational programs for a large and diverse staff is required.
• Skills and Knowledge:
• Learning Management Systems (LMS)**: Proficiency in using LMS platforms.
• Training Delivery: Effectively delivering training sessions.
• Training Needs Analysis: Identifying training requirements.
• Various instructional certifications, including but not limited to CPR/FA trainer certification, Safety Care instructor certification, and others.
• It requires initiative, collaboration skills, flexibility, detail-orientation, time management ability, and the ability to work independently.
• Standard driver’s license – class C or class D and travel to area offices required.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
