Job summary

QualDerm Partners, a leading dermatology network in the United States, seeks a proactive Learning & Development Specialist to design, deliver, and improve training across the organization. The role focuses on onboarding, employee development, and leveraging technology to create engaging learning experiences.

You will partner with leadership, manage the LMS, develop e-learning modules, and facilitate sessions, supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment and improving performance and retention.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or instructional design.
• Strong experience managing and utilizing an LMS is required.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint to create polished presentations.
• Healthcare or medical practice experience supporting Medical Assistants is preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows and training needs is a plus; Canvas or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for new hires and existing staff.
• Partner with leadership to identify training needs and scalable solutions.
• Manage LMS including uploads, tracking, reporting, and UX optimization.
• Create engaging training materials: presentations, job aids, e-learning modules.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person sessions to ensure knowledge transfer.
• Analyze training effectiveness and drive content improvements.
• Support onboarding and ongoing development to boost retention and performance.

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and driven Learning & Development Specialist to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs across the organization. This individual will play a key role in enhancing employee performance, onboarding effectiveness, and ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong instructional design skills, and is comfortable leveraging technology to deliver engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for new hires and existing employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and performance standards.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify training needs and implement scalable learning solutions.
• Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including course uploads, tracking, reporting, and optimization of user experience.
• Create engaging training materials, including presentations, job aids, and e-learning modules, with a strong emphasis on high-quality PowerPoint development.
• Facilitate both virtual and in-person training sessions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and learner engagement.
• Track and analyze training effectiveness using data and feedback, making continuous improvements to content and delivery methods.
• Support onboarding initiatives and ongoing development programs to enhance employee retention and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or instructional design, required
• Strong experience managing and utilizing an LMS is required.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint with the ability to create polished, engaging presentations.
• Experience within a healthcare or medical practice setting, particularly supporting Medical Assistants (MA), is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows and training needs in a medical environment is a plus
• Experience with Canvas or similar learning platforms is highly preferred
• Proven ability to take initiative and operate as a "go-getter" in building and improving training programs.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
