Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in learning and development, training, sales enablement, onboarding, or a related field
• Experience supporting sales, marketing, customer-facing, or other commercial teams
• Experience facilitating training and partnering with managers and SMEs to address learning needs
• Experience supporting onboarding and capability-building programs in a matrixed organization
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, healthcare, or other regulated or technical environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify onboarding, training, and performance improvement needs with Sales and Commercial leaders.
• Execute sales training and enablement programs for customer-facing teams.
• Support onboarding programs and role-based learning paths.
• Coordinate training assignments, completion tracking, and learner progress through the LMS and related tools.
• Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended training sessions.
• Develop, refresh, and manage training materials with SMEs.
• Track participation, completion, and training effectiveness metrics, and provide recommendations.
• Lead assigned learning projects, including planning, coordination, communications, and evaluation

Job Summary

In this role, you will serve as a learning partner supporting sales training and enablement priorities for customer-facing commercial teams. This role executes key learning initiatives, consults with managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) on capability needs, supports onboarding and training programs, facilitates learning experiences, and helps improve the effectiveness of commercial training solutions.

The role partners closely with commercial leaders, SMEs, HR, and other stakeholders to identify development needs, implement training solutions, and monitor learner progress and program effectiveness. The Learning & Development Partner - Sales Training & Enablement helps sustain onboarding and capabilities training programs, supports learning operations through effective use of systems and processes, and contributes to continuous improvement of commercial learning experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Commercial leaders, managers, and SMEs to identify onboarding, training, and performance improvement needs.
• Execute sales training and enablement programs for customer-facing commercial teams.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of onboarding programs and role-based learning paths.
• Coordinate training assignments, completion tracking, and learner progress through the LMS and related tools.
• Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended training sessions for onboarding, systems, process, and capability development.
• Partner with content owners and SMEs to develop, refresh, and manage training materials and learner resources.
• Track participation, completion, and training effectiveness metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Lead assigned learning projects, including planning, coordination, communications, stakeholder follow-up, and evaluation

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in learning and development, training, sales enablement, onboarding, or a related field required.
• Experience supporting sales, marketing, customer-facing, or other commercial teams.
• Experience facilitating training and partnering with managers and SMEs to address learning needs.
• Experience supporting onboarding and capability-building programs in a matrixed organization preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, healthcare, or other regulated or technical environments preferred

• Knowledge of adult learning principles, facilitation methods, instructional design, and learning technologies.
• Ability to translate business and performance needs into practical learning solutions for commercial teams.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across Sales, Commercial, HR, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management, planning, coordination, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to analyze training data, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.
• Ability to coach SMEs, trainers, and business partners on effective learning practices.
