You will partner closely with the Senior Manager, Global Learning & Development and the business, to develop and deliver a new strategy for our global teams, amplify existing initiatives and programs and help us innovate and think about what is best for now and right for tomorrow as Figma scales.

What you’ll do at Figma:

  • Manage face-to-face and virtual L&D delivery acting globally as an expert facilitator on a wide range of Figmate and Figmanager related learning including:
    • Leadership Development (incl. Aspiring Leader and First Line Manager Programs)
    • Team Development
    • Change Readiness (incl. Resilience, Adaptability, and Change Management)
    • Assessments (e.g. DISC; Strengthsfinder)
    • Soft skills (e.g. Communication Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Problem-Solving Skills, and Time Management)
  • Connect with key stakeholders to assess individual leader and team learning needs, developing impactful and scalable learning opportunities aligned with our global strategy
  • Manage external vendors aligned to learning content delivery and coaching (incl. Betterup)
  • Develop a common language / framework(s) for use across the business linked to our ‘expectations’ of leaders at Figma
  • Identify and embed ordinary and extraordinary learning evaluation metrics and processes across all interventions to ensure a data driven approach when evaluating learning needs and return on investment
  • Experiment often and transition quickly from pilot to global programs
Some projects you could work on:
  • Deliver, evaluate, and scale programs (incl. Aspiring Managers, First Time Managers; and Mid Career Managers).
  • Embedding our ‘Leadership Expectations’ into the business providing learning content for areas where leaders may need to shift their mindset and behavior.
  • Support adhoc requests for team ‘offsites’ and develop system to create scalable and sustainable method for delivery.
  • Design and deliver a People Partner train the trainer style program to align with our global leadership expectations.
  • Create leadership L&D content on using FigJam and Fig Slides.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You are an expert at facilitating and coaching both virtually and in person
  • You have experience measuring impact and iterating on programs
  • You have 10+ years of experience in a learning and development role (incl. Leadership Development)
  • You thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly to a changing environment and take a global view
  • You have the ability to communicate and influence across all levels of an organization
  • You’re strong at strategic thinking, advising, mentoring, coaching and analytical skills
  • You have experience working with multiple 3rd party vendors (e.g. BetterUp)
  • You have strong practical knowledge of learning technologies and innovations in learning design
  • You have used FigJam and Fig Slides before and/or have the desire to quickly learn
  • You are comfortable rolling your sleeves up and managing a lot of your own activity as we mature our systems and processes as a team
  • You are a skilled communicator who can attract and engage participants to programs

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.

Figma offers equity to employees, as well a competitive package of additional benefits, including health, dental & vision, retirement with company contribution, parental leave & reproductive or family planning support, mental health & wellness benefits, generous PTO, company recharge days, a learning & development stipend, a work from home stipend, and cell phone reimbursement. Figma also offers sales incentive pay for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles. Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):

$136,000 - $260,000 USD
