The position is hybrid, requiring 3+ days in-office attendance at the Firm's New York headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Learning & Development Strategy:
  • Evaluate firm-wide training needs through stakeholder engagement and data analysis.
  • Assist in creating and executing a strategic learning and development plan aligned with firm goals.
  • Program Planning & Execution:
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver quarterly and annual training programs for attorneys and staff.
  • Collaborate with vendors, CLE coordinators, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and accreditation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments including Professional Development, Marketing, and Business Development.
  • Partner with practice groups and administrative leaders to tailor programming to specific needs.
  • Content Development & Communication:
  • Support the creation of training content and internal communication strategies to promote learning initiatives.
  • Help position the firm's learning brand internally and externally.
  • Assessment & Continuous Improvement:
  • Track and analyze training metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Adjust offerings based on evolving needs and market trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Learning & Development or professional development, ideally in a law firm or similar professional setting.
  • Strong ownership of initiatives from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and diverse legal professionals.
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in large law firms and coordinating legal training programs.
  • A law degree is a plus.

Compensation: $105,000 - 115,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
