Job summary

Crane Pumps & Systems in Piqua, Ohio seeks a Value Stream Supervisor to lead breakthrough operational improvements under the Plant Manager. This developmental role guides hourly associates and oversees the value stream from inventory through delivery, applying lean methods to drive cost, quality, and safety gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S.
• Experience leading lean initiatives in manufacturing operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a manufacturing team using Crane’s Intellectual Capital process.
• Assist in staffing to meet departmental goals and support production to meet OTD.
• Lead Gemba cadences and daily KPI analysis.
• Ensure 5S standards are adhered to and implement PFMEA/Control Plans.
• Lead continuous improvement through kaizens and FFV with cross-functional teams.
• Document current and future state of the value stream and track progress.
