Job summary

The Gund Company in Cedar Lake, IN is seeking a Value Stream Manager to oversee order fulfillment from quoting through shipping. You will lead plant personnel, coordinate production operations, and drive lean improvements to maximize quality and on-time delivery.

Reporting to Plant Management, you will supervise multiple functions including customer service, machining, assembly, processing, packaging and shipping, with a focus on safety and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Four years of management experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality concepts (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Set production line priorities and schedules to meet delivery needs.
• Drive safety, continuous improvement, and lean initiatives across the value stream.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain.
