Job summary

Consigli Construction in New York is seeking a Lean Manager to drive continuous improvement across project teams and clients, applying lean tools and philosophy to current processes.

You will coach leadership, facilitate events, and train superintendents, with up to 60% travel required. Bachelor’s in construction management or related field and 5+ years in construction operations preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in construction-related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction operations and/or design preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in group facilitation and implementing collaborative delivery methods.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train and teach Lean concepts across leadership levels.
• Collaborate with internal departments and complex project teams.
• Facilitate continuous improvement events with company leaders and external clients.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and value addition on projects.
• Set up and sustain Daily Stand Up Audits (DSU) and improve field visibility.
• Train Superintendents to identify and remove waste and roadblocks.
• Support lookahead meetings and Lean schedule updates with field teams.
• Plan material flow on-site and storage locations to minimize non-value activities.
• Encourage teams to pull plans with trades every 10 weeks.
