Job summary

Wilsonart is hiring a Lean Manufacturing Specialist for the Fletcher, NC facility. You will guide the plant in developing, executing, and sustaining Lean and cost-out strategies across procurement, logistics, production, and supporting functions.

Responsibilities include identifying non-value steps, facilitating lean sessions, and building dashboards to drive performance and safety. Join a team that supports growth, training, and internal promotion opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years as a change agent utilizing lean methodologies in manufacturing.
• Experience managing cross-functional project teams in a global matrix.

Responsibilities

• Identify non-value steps and implement lean projects in the local plant.
• Collaborate with regional lean teams to ensure buy-in for plant strategy.
• Lead Lean Action Workout sessions and value stream mapping activities.
• Develop visual controls and metrics to drive data-driven decisions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Safety and SPS to leverage lessons learned.
