Dayton Parts, a Dorman brand, seeks a Lean Practitioner to join the Harrisburg, PA manufacturing facility. You will drive continuous improvement on products, systems, operations, and processes with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

This onsite role runs Monday through Friday and supports performance excellence across the plant. The role requires hands-on Lean experience, Kaizen leadership, and strong analytical abilities to identify bottlenecks and drive efficiency improvements in

Qualifications

• 2–3 years lean manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading Kaizen events.
• Green belt Six Sigma qualification or equivalent desired.
• Awareness of ISO standards and Health and Safety practices.
• Understanding manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
• Planning and prioritising activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Understanding of cost and financial impacts.
• Ability to work on own initiative.

Responsabilités

• Analyze current work practices to identify areas for improvement and educate on improving processes.
• Lead and participate in Kaizen-Continuous Improvement Events (CIEs).
• Perform workplace audits and streamline processes within area of responsibility.
• Map processes and value streams to identify inefficiencies in layouts and sequencing.
• Recommend changes to cut waste from operating procedures.
