Job summary

Knowles Liberty, SC is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to implement Lean manufacturing techniques, lead improvement events, and train staff in problem-solving methods. You will develop annual improvement plans, monitor results, and present to leadership.

The role requires hands-on GMP-like discipline and collaboration across teams. Responsibilities include project management, training, and sustaining scrap reduction results, with a base pay in the stated range.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in engineering-related areas such as Maintenance, Production, or Quality.
• Strong information analysis capability.
• Creative, with complex problem-solving and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and close Rapid Improvement Events (RIE) including Kaizen, TPM, Kanban, SMED.
• Train and coach employees in practical problem solving and CPS development.
• Monitor and report monthly savings from scrap reduction projects.
