Job summary

Safran in Carson, CA is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive Lean initiatives on the Quality team. You will apply Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma methods to improve process efficiency, quality, productivity and savings, leading Kaizen events and 5S deployments.

You will map processes, develop data-driven solutions, mentor teams, and contribute to the QRQC program while promoting a lean culture across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen events and One Safran lean initiatives.
• Develop process mappings to identify gaps and improvements.
• Support Lean Six Sigma projects (VSM, TPM, DMAIC).
• Promote 5S deployment and standard work across lines.
• Prepare reports and present CI progress at management meetings.
