Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer in Carson, CA to drive Lean initiatives and process optimization in a onsite manufacturing environment.

You will lead Kaizen events, deploy Six Sigma methods, map processes, and support the 5S and QRQC programs while collaborating across functions to improve quality, productivity, and safety. Strong data analysis skills with Power BI or Tableau are preferred, and you will mentor staff to sustain improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma methodologies training.
• Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing processes.
• Experience in Aerospace or a related industry is desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead Kaizen events and Lean Sigma projects.
• Develop process mappings and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support 5S deployment and QRQC programs.
• Collaborate across functions to improve quality, productivity, and safety.
• Present progress and results to leadership; sustain improvements.
