Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a highly experienced Continuous Improvement Director to drive Lean principles across our engines business. You will serve as coach and mentor, aligning CI initiatives with senior leadership goals to boost productivity and capacity.

The role requires extensive CI leadership, experience with Kaizen, JIT and TPM methodologies, and the ability to travel up to 50% for collaboration with plant teams and sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in manufacturing operations or execution roles.
• Minimum 7 years in leadership in Operations or CI.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive or similar high-lean env.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; willing to travel up to 50%.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and sustainment of Lean/CI initiatives across the business segment.
• Coach and mentor teams to adopt CI practices and improve productivity.
• Drive OEE improvements and waste reduction using Lean tools.
• Manage Hoshin, Kaizen events and rapid improvement processes.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
