Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Lean Technician to support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives at a manufacturing facility. You will work directly alongside Lean Engineers, assisting with project implementation, process improvements, Kaizen events, and day-to-day continuous improvement activities across the plant.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, maintenance, mechanical, or process improvement experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to support multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong sense of urgency and willingness to take initiative.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Proven track record of being engaged, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to identify work that needs to be done rather than waiting for direction.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Experience participating in Kaizen events.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lean Engineers with project implementation and process changes.
• Support day-to-day continuous improvement activities across the plant.
• Participate in Kaizen events and drive CI initiatives to completion.
