Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Lean Specialist 2 to support internal staff training on Lean tools and sustain Lean transformation programs across projects. You will coach teams, maintain training materials, and promote Lean principles to improve performance while aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

This role requires 2+ years in construction or Lean, strong facilitation, and the ability to adapt Lean practices to diverse projects and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required and equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2+ years construction or Lean experience required.
• Experience in group facilitation preferred.
• Ability to coach and lead change management.

Responsibilities

• Supports training of internal staff on Lean tools and maintains Lean processes.
• Gathers information and performs analysis on Lean impact for projects.
• May train and support team members with basic Lean tools.
• Maintains the organization’s ongoing Lean journey.
• Identifies constraints and helps teams fulfill commitments.
• Maintains standards of Lean tools among project teams.
• Explores new Lean tools and methodologies for adoption.
• Customizes training materials for assigned customers.
• Supports data collection and analyses to measure Lean effectiveness.
• Participates in monthly regional leadership meetings.
• Supports weekly Lean Huddles in the region.
