Job summary

Peterson Power Systems, Inc. seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead a comprehensive CI program across Sales, Project Engineering, and Project Management. You will drive cross-functional projects from concept to execution, using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to reduce waste and improve quality.

Qualifications

• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other continuous improvement tools.
• Lead, motivate, and influence teams, promote accountability, and drive adoption of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align improvement efforts with business objectives and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with goals.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects from concept through execution.
• Use Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and root cause analysis to reduce waste, improve quality, and enhance performance.
• Establish objectives, metrics, and KPIs to monitor progress and report outcomes to leadership.
• Analyze business performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Partner with managers, employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to identify gaps and align best practices.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, standards, and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Facilitate change management by communicating changes and training teams.
• Develop and deliver training programs to build internal CI capabilities.
• Promote employee engagement by encouraging problem identification and solution implementation.
• Assist managers in monitoring performance across Sales, Project Engineering, and Project Management teams.
• Coordinate implementation of new processes across departments to ensure adoption.
• Travel away from base location up to 50% of the time.
• Maintain regular, punctual, and predictable attendance.
