Job summary

Kimber Mfg., Inc. is seeking a Lean Six Sigma Project Engineer in Troy, Alabama. This exempt role supports the Continuous Improvement Manager, developing a Factory Master Plan aligned to 1–5 year business goals and driving SDQC objectives through lean tools and cross-functional teamwork.

The role will lead data-driven projects, manage change, and ensure alignment with the future state plan, while collaborating with senior leadership and factory teams to improve manufacturing effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (ASQ or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with Industrial Engineering and lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, collect and analyze data to develop statistical problems and goals.
• Lead continuous improvement project teams to execute Kaizen/Rapid Improvement.
• Develop integrated plans to synchronize manufacturing processes and improve material flow.
