Job summary

James Hardie is seeking a CIMS Engineer to enhance manufacturing efficiency through Lean and Six Sigma. You will analyze data, lead Kaizen events, map value streams, and mentor staff to build a culture of sustainable change and improved quality across the plant.

Responsibilities include capital project management, process audits, and delivering projects on time and within budget, while partnering with quality, engineering, and operators to close performance gaps and drive cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Mechatronics, or Mechanical).
• 1+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement/Process Engineering roles.
• Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with process automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement projects with quality, efficiency, and RTY improvements.
• Identify performance gaps in yield, uptime, speed and quality and drive projects to close them.
• Benchmark processes against best-in-class systems and drive improvements across the plant.
