Job summary

Medial Group is seeking an Associate Business Process Improvement Analyst in Villalba, Puerto Rico, to drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and improve process efficiency in a regulated environment. The role focuses on time studies, line balancing, VSM, and layout optimization to boost productivity and reduce waste through data-driven, cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work 100% on-site in Villalba, Puerto Rico.
• Experience with time studies and line balancing.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience or knowledge in Time Studies, Line Balancing, Lean Manufacturing, Flow Acceleration, Ergonomics, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
• Ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Perform time studies and line-balancing analyses to improve productivity and flow.
• Analyze and document existing manufacturing and business processes.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and flow acceleration initiatives.
• Develop and optimize layouts to improve workflow, material movement, and ergonomics.
• Perform Value Stream Mapping to identify waste and bottlenecks.
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify root causes of issues.
• Develop metrics and performance indicators to measure effectiveness.
• Measure performance against requirements and address gaps.
• Support cross-functional teams in project implementations.
