Job summary

L'Oreal USA, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Performance Improvement in Florence, KY to drive manufacturing excellence.

You will lead continuous improvement programs, coach teams in Lean and Six Sigma, and manage the site workshop including CNC machines and 3D printers, partnering with maintenance and IT for data-driven outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field and 3–5 years of Black Belt/MBB-level experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required, engineering/related field preferred.
3-5 years as Black Belt/Master Black Belt in manufacturing preferred.
Strong technical skills in manufacturing, data systems, and problem solving.
Familiar with CNC equipment and in-house manufacturing tech.
Ability to train and coach Lean/Six Sigma across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement projects impacting quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
Develop and update Six Sigma/lean training materials for staff.
Lead cross-functional teams using Six Sigma tools for CI initiatives.
Identify opportunities to reduce non-value-added activities in processes.
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and digital teams on improvements.
Oversee site workshop activities and ensure safe, effective use of equipment.
Develop practical spare-parts solutions and cost-effective replacements.
Lead Ignition and data projects; manage performance data and reporting.
