Job summary

DO & CO AG seeks an experienced Continuous Improvement Director, based out of our JFK location, to champion process optimization across all US units. You will lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives, improve productivity, and drive cost savings in a high-volume hospitality environment.

The role requires strong analytics, project leadership, and a track record of measurable improvements in production, logistics, and catering delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (Black Belt preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement, manufacturing, food production, aviation, or other high-volume operational environments.
• Strong analytical, project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with experience driving measurable business results through process improvement initiatives.
• Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced, and time-sensitive operational environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, and operational reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across airline catering operations.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste reduction opportunities to improve productivity and service levels.
• Analyze and optimize workflows across production, logistics, warehousing, and aircraft catering delivery processes.
• Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs to drive operational excellence.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring operational challenges.
• Partner with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to ALL US units to ensure continuous improvement initiatives support food safety, HACCP compliance, and airline customer requirements.
• Manage improvement projects from planning through implementation, sustainability, and results measurement.
• Train and coach employees on Lean methodologies, problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement practices.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through labor optimization, waste reduction, and process efficiency improvements.
