Job summary

Storyteller Overland is seeking a Quality & Process Engineer to join the Technology, Engineering, and Design (TED) team. You will work with production, quality, purchasing, service, and management to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery while representing the brand in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will lead standardized work, help implement CAPA and APQP processes, and collaborate across functions to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence on the factory

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/assembly environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience a plus.
• Willing to be hands-on and multi-task.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production processes, equipment, and safety practices to identify risks and improve safety, quality and throughput.
• Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and procedures.
• Lead engineering change management for process and product changes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and ergonomic enhancements.
• Support design validation and manufacturability with Product Development and R&D.
• Contribute to training programs and standardized work development.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve performance.
• Perform time studies, line balancing, and workflow assessments to identify bottlenecks.
• Analyze production data and prepare reports and dashboards for decision making.
• Support root cause analysis and CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to APQP processes (PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, PPAP).
• Develop and implement layered process audits and manufacturing process audits.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, visual management, and continuous improvement.
