Job summary

Storyteller Overland, LLC is seeking a Quality & Process Engineer to join our TED team on the manufacturing floor in Springfield, MO. You will collaborate with production, quality, purchasing, and service to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery while serving as a strong brand ambassador within our community of vanlifers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in engineering and manufacturing/process engineering, a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, and hands-on experience with lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 2+ years in manufacturing/process engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production processes, equipment, and safety practices to identify risks and improve safety, quality and performance.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions, process docs, and procedures.
• Lead engineering change management to implement process and product changes.
• Identify opportunities for tooling, fixtures, and ergonomic improvements to boost productivity.
• Collaborate with Product Development and R&D for design validation and manufacturability.
• Support training programs and standardized work across the operation.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve throughput.
• Perform time studies, line balancing, and data-driven analysis for improvements.
• Support CAPA and APQP activities to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Assist in audits and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S).
