Job summary

Red Cat is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations on site in Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement across the production floor, with responsibility for supervising teams, scheduling, and reporting outcomes.

You will drive lean initiatives, oversee shift activities, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and optimize workflows. Prior experience with SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Associate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles (5S) and continuous improvement.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems and data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production to meet schedule, quality, and output goals.
• Lead, coach and develop production team members; support training and attendance management.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and company procedures.
• Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive lean improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations to resolve issues and improve workflow.
• Schedule staff, assign shifts, and manage attendance; publish end-of-shift reports with performance insights.
• Lead daily start-up meetings and communicate safety or quality alerts and goals.
