Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a fast-paced manufacturing team and scale processes for growth. You will drive daily operations, safety, quality, and on-time delivery while mentoring staff.

The role requires 5–7 years in manufacturing with Lean/Six Sigma expertise and a BS in a related field. Expect collaboration across Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of manufacturing experience, including leadership in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Six Sigma certification required (Green Belt preferred, Black Belt a plus).
• Hands-on experience with Lean tools, root-cause analysis, standard work development, and reading engineering drawings.
• Experience in startup/high-growth or scaling manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day manufacturing operations to maximize safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to reduce downtime, waste, and optimize workflow.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on New Product Introduction (NPI) and scaling for high-volume production.
• Develop and standardize work instructions, assembly methods, and manufacturing processes.
• Coach and mentor production personnel to build a safety-first, continuous-improvement culture.
• Work with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations to remove bottlenecks and constraints.
