Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Production Supervisor (Drys) at our Paris, KY site to oversee daily manufacturing activities, plan and optimize production resources, and ensure quality and compliance with cGMP standards.

The role requires a technical Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least five years in lean manufacturing, including supervisory experience. Strong leadership, attention to safety, and cross-functional coordination are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a technical field (life science, chemistry, or engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience in a lean environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Life science, chemistry, chemical engineering or chemical production experience desired.
• Experience in cGMP manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop manufacturing employees to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to meet sales orders and inventory requirements.
• Maintain and improve manufacturing procedures, batch records, SOPs and work instructions for quality and compliance.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce non-conformities and costs.
