Job summary

Avantor in Paris, KY is seeking a Production Supervisor (Drys) to oversee the daily planning, implementation and maintenance of the manufacturing activities in a high-demand facility. The role requires strong leadership to drive safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts.

You will manage staffing, coordinate cross-functional activities, and enforce cGMP-compliant practices while advancing continuous improvements through data-driven approaches.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing experience in a lean environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Experience with cGMP, SOPs and batch records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing employees and coordinate activities across departments.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate staffing to fulfill orders and meet inventory targets.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with documented procedures and work instructions.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts using data to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support audits and ISO-related activities and develop cross-training programs.
