Job summary

Allmand, a Generac Company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a daily production shift and coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Materials, Ops Engineering, Quality and Facilities to achieve on-time, cost-effective production.

Responsibilities include directing production activities, coaching staff, maintaining safety, and driving lean improvements across quality, productivity, and delivery. ERP experience a plus; on-site role in Holdrege, NE.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people or organizing tasks.
• Experience using SAP or ERP systems (Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office.
• Experience as a team lead or leading project teams in an operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the department to ensure safe, timely, and efficient completion of manufacturing schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned production employees.
• Provide manufacturing information by compiling and analyzing production data and performance records.
• Ensure compliance with policies; complete safety, productivity and policy reports.
• Select, coach and develop staff; set expectations and provide feedback.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement related to safety, quality, productivity, delivery and inventory.
• Interview and onboard new employees.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and manage parts flow.
• Resolve shop floor conflicts through effective communication.
