Job summary

Driverge in Chico, CA seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee shop production, parts, inventory, tools, repairs, maintenance and safety. You will manage the shop schedule, staffing and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires hands-on participation in production, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work across locations. A high school diploma and 5+ years supervisory experience are preferred, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing shop supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Criminal and motor vehicle background check and pre-employment drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 8-25 hourly employees across multiple locations.
• Coordinate shop production paper flow including timecards and reports.
• Track engineering changes and implement applicable ones.
• Ensure employee safety methods and quality awareness.
• Handle shop scheduling and special projects affecting methods and activity.
• Complete related administrative tasks and paperwork.
• Support Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
