Job summary

• 5–7 years in lean manufacturing in a managerial, multi-shift role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or manufacturing operations related.
• Strong written and oral communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to inspire associates.
• Willingness to learn and develop new methods.
• Root cause analysis, problem identification, and resolution skills.
• Ability to distinguish visual defects in production processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand and disseminate the plant direction and goals using World Class Manufacturing tools.
• Manage daily production and delivery operations personally or through supervisors.
• Schedule, plan and control production activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Collect and report line status related to customer satisfaction and goals.
• Collaborate with Director of Operations on goal setting.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, and Maintenance to schedule machinery maintenance.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in hiring, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Act as resource and trainer in problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Foster positive relationships and address employee concerns.
• Oversee health, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Investigate work incidents and ensure proper notifications.
• Ensure documentation and protocols are followed.
