Job summary

BOSCH in Norman, Oklahoma is seeking a Production Manager to oversee all manufacturing operations, developing schedules and guiding teams to meet quality and efficiency targets.

The role requires strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and quality control, with lean principles and ERP experience. You will collaborate with supply chain and QA, manage budgets and ensure safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 10+ years in manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years of production supervision experience or in a leadership role.
• 5+ years of combined factory experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, or Production Planning.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and quality control management.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and their application.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and its impact on production.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety/regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resources.
• Lead and manage production teams to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supply chain and quality control to ensure smooth operations and product quality.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and upgrades to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in production.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Develop and manage production budgets, controlling costs while meeting targets.
• Coordinate with other departments to align production goals with business objectives.
