Job summary
Brunswick's Sea Ray Operations in Vonore, TN seeks a seasoned Operations Leader to supervise supervisors, lead lean initiatives, and drive value stream performance in a boat manufacturing setting. You will mentor belts, improve safety and quality, and coordinate cross-functional launches of new models.
Demonstrated ability to influence across levels, deep Lean experience and a track record of improving productivity are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations/Engineering/Manufacturing/Business or related field.
- 7+ years of operational experience in Manufacturing, Quality or Engineering with cross-functional teams.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred; Green Belt with history acceptable.
- Proficiency in Lean tools and applying them in Operational Management.
- Strong verbal and written communication across all levels.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to supervisors, team leads and production staff to meet operating plans.
- Apply Lean tools and drive line balancing, flow improvements and cost reduction.
- Mentor Green/Yellow Belts driving financial impact through initiatives.
- Ensure safety, quality and productivity with regular reporting to leadership.
- Coordinate cross-functional launches of new models and tech in production.
