Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Production Engineer to optimize manufacturing operations in Mississippi. You will streamline production workflows, ensure reliable plant machinery, and maintain high product quality.

Collaborate with floor supervisors and QA to boost efficiency, cut costs, and apply lean principles to improve workflows and equipment performance.

Requirements: Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years in production/ manufacturing engineering with lean experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
At least 4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.
Proven experience with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong understanding of production machinery and industrial processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lead and motivate teams towards production goals.

Responsibilities

Oversee and optimize daily production processes for maximum efficiency and output.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve workflow.
Monitor production equipment performance and schedule preventative maintenance.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
Ensure all products meet stringent quality control standards.
