Job summary

International Medical Group is looking for a Production Engineer in La Porte, Indiana, responsible for enhancing manufacturing processes through Lean methodologies and collaboration with various departments. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and over 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience working with discrete parts.
• Solid working knowledge of machining, assembly, automation and other manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or similar).

Responsibilities

• Participate in Lean Transformational strategies including projects in 6S and Model Cell development.
• Design and optimize tooling, fixtures, and work instructions for production operations.
• Train and support operators and technicians in best practices to ensure compliance.
