Job summary

The role emphasizes lean improvements, EDI order handling, and effective communication with customers. A related bachelor's degree with automotive industry exposure is preferred, along with 1+ year in production planning or procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years in Production Planning/Management, Sales or Procurement preferred.
• Minimum 1 year automotive manufacturing experience required.
• Strong Excel skills with data handling, reporting and dashboards.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and problem-solving mindset.
• Familiar with ISO/IATF standards, Control Plan and APQP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production planning and final product inventory activities.
• Plan and manage parts and materials procurement and inventory.
• Schedule and track customer orders and shipments via EDI systems.
• Promote and participate in new project preparation activities.
• Maintain clear communication with customers about schedules, orders, shipments, and delivery expectations.
• Monitor shipments and align with internal teams to address delays or issues.
• Develop lean strategies to maximize value and minimize waste.
• Present strategies to leaders and stakeholders inside and outside the company.
• Maintain project management plans and report progress regularly.
• Support HR with gap analyses to inform development plans.
