Job summary

AISIN World Corp. of America in Marion, IL is seeking an Inventory Control professional to ensure accurate inventory for mass production, service and new model programs, aligned with demand and capacity.

The role involves gathering data from multiple sources to forecast plant resource needs, maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers, coordinating with the team, and driving cost reductions and process improvements while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Inventory Control including verification of inventory amounts for mass production, service and new model, in accordance with customer/production demand and supplier/internal capacity.
• (includes but not limited to:raw material, component, product, supplies, power equipment, packaging)
• Obtain, organize and analyze data from multiple sources to provide forecast to the plant for resource planning.
• Develop and maintain relationship with customers, and monitor and react to demand changes.
• Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers, and monitor and control supplier activities.
• Develop and maintain relationship with the team, closely coodinating with appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate and process engineering change instruction (ECI), and associated ramp up / build out activities.
• Identify opportunities to reduce overall cost and manhour needed within the department and implement.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy of output from the department and implement.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety, security and quality standards.
• All other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management.
