Job summary

AISIN Illinois is hiring for an Inventory Control role focused on verifying inventory across mass production, service, and new model programs. The position emphasizes forecasting resource needs by aggregating data from multiple sources and coordinating with customers and suppliers to respond to changing demand.

The role requires prior Production Control experience (two years preferred) and automotive industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior applicable experience in Production Control preferred.
• Automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control including verification of inventory amounts for mass production, service and new model.
• Obtain, organize and analyze data from multiple sources to provide forecast to the plant for resource planning.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, and monitor and react to demand changes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, and monitor and control supplier activities.
• Develop and maintain relationship with the team, closely coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate and process engineering change instruction (ECI), and associated ramp up / build out activities.
• Identify opportunities to reduce overall cost and manhour needed within the department and implement.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy of output from the department and implement.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety, security and quality standards.
