Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Process Technician to optimize manufacturing processes, support production teams, and ensure efficient component flow for new and existing product builds.

This role collaborates with quality, materials, engineering, and supervision to improve workstation layouts, document standard work, and support new model launches. Strong technical aptitude, leadership, and the ability to work with complex 3D models are essential to maintain a lean production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading process-improvement initiatives in manufacturing.
• Ability to read 3D models and document standard work using CAD/planning tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Document check backs with quality to verify process.
• Set up broadcast communications to generate pick lists for pilot builds.
• Manage component flow with materials and production teams based on effectivity dates.
• Participate in VIP Program initiatives and Kaizen events for continuous improvement.
• Improve workstation layouts, tooling, and ergonomics with leaders and supervisors.
• Work with 3D models of integrated systems to support process design.
