Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a PPI Business System Specialist II to support continuous improvement initiatives and develop a culture of operational excellence. You will lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other lean activities, mentoring teams to drive measurable improvements.

The role emphasizes data analysis, project management, and training across the organization, with GMP knowledge preferred and a strong focus on reducing waste and improving customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of lean tools including value stream mapping, 5S, visual management, standard work, and root cause analysis.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects and Kaizen events.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
• Project management capabilities to guide initiatives from conception through implementation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Experience with change management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• GMP knowledge and quality systems preferred.
• Track record of measurable operational improvements and cost savings.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
