Job summary

FTI is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator in Wisconsin to drive and support a culture of continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify, plan and execute process improvements, training others in Lean concepts and leading Kaizen events.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in lean processes. This role requires 10–25% travel, a 7 AM–5 PM schedule, and potential overtime to meet business

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 1–2 years working in a lean process.
  • Travel: 10–25% based on company need.
  • Work Schedule: 7 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Strive to become a technical expert in Lean Manufacturing tools and principles including 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Kaizen, A3, Root Cause Analysis and Mistake Proofing.
  • Participate in the development of the CI Plan to develop and promote a Continuous Improvement culture within Excellerate.
  • Support the CI Team and all Excellerate-wide Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Work with all facilities and departments to identify and quantify potential opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that deliver measurable results.
  • Work with all Excellerate facilities to share best practices and lessons learned.
  • Assist in Kaizen events and follow up on action items.
  • Develop education materials to deploy throughout the organization to train the organization in Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Provide coaching through hands-on facilitation and demonstration of the use of Lean tools.
  • Monitor and measure the progress of process improvement initiatives, track key metrics, and report on the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
  • Build trust within an organization through direct engagement, problem solving, and building relationships.
  • Support Excellerate Process Development activities through facilitation of Process Flow and Process Mapping activities and act as a mentor to train.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
